TIME:
Competition will begin Friday noon, May 24nd and will continue each day starting at 8:00AM. We will conclude the tournament Sunday early afternoon with the awards ceremony.

Transportation:
Transportation will be provided from the Atlanta airport on Thursday May, 24tb to the hotel and/or the venue with transportation to the airport on Sunday, May 26th from the venue. Transportation daily from the Sonesta Atlanta Northwest to the Community Center and back at the end of the day.
Meals:
Dinner on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday will be provided to registered players and coaches. Meals are available to non-registered persons at $50.00 per person.

Format:
3 tournaments with a gold, silver and bronze finish- ‘A’ level man (8 teams, 2 pools)
- Women (6 teams, 1 pool)
- ‘B’ level men (8 teams, 2 pool)
Full tournament structure and timing
- 22 teams
- 59 game slots.
- Games start 12pm EDT - May 24th, 2024, and ends Sunday May 26th, 2024 around 12:30pm.
- We will play 10-minute halves during pool play, Quarterfinals, Semifinals.
- We will Play 12-minute halves during medal games
- Games will start 5 minutes after the previous game if we are behind as determined by the tournament director or head referee.
2 ‘A’ level men’s pools of 4 teams A and B
- All 4 teams in each pool will advance to the quarterfinals (teams will be seeded 1-4 by record and goal differential calculated by Goalball Scoreboard once all round robin games are completed.)
- Normal quarterfinal cross overs apply (A1vB4, A2vB3, A3vB2 and A4vB1)
1 Women Pool of 6 teams A
- Top 4 teams will advance to the semifinals (teams will be seeded 1-4 by record and goal differential calculated by Goalball Scoreboard once all round robin games are completed.)
- Normal semifinals apply (1v4, 2v3)
2 ‘B’ level men’s pool of 4 teams C, D
- All 4 teams in each pool will advance to the quarterfinals (teams will be seeded 1-4 by record and goal differential calculated by Goalball Scoreboard once all round robin games are completed.)
- Normal quarterfinal cross overs apply (C1vD4, C2vD3, C3vD2 and C4vD1)
Tournament rules:
IBSA rules will be followed with the following exceptions:- All games will be played in 10-minute halves.
- Teams are allowed three substitutions in 10-minute half games. Medal round games will have four substitutions.
- Teams will be allowed 3 timeouts per game. The medal round games will have 4 timeouts.
- Patching/taping requests will be made at the coin flip. The requesting team will provide patches and tape for both halves.
- Coin flips will be conducted in the marshaling area at the main entry 30 minutes prior to each game or 15 minutes prior to your start for the first game of the day.
- Check your lineup sheet at the coin flip to make sure it is correct. Teams will be penalized for errors or an absent player or coach.
- Games will begin within 5 minutes of the conclusion of the game prior unless tournament officials decide to extend that time. Games will not start more than 30 minutes before their scheduled time. Please be mindful of this as your match could start sooner than the time listed. Also, if a game is over in the first half the coin flip will take place immediately following the conclusion of that game.
- Goal differential - subtracting a team’s goals scored against from their goals scored in the total round robin.
- Number of wins – teams will be assessed on the number of wins in the round robin. Teams with the most wins will be given the higher ranking.
- Goals against– the team with the lowest goals against in the overall competition will be given the higher ranking.
- Goal differential – The same procedure shall be used again, but this time only the games in the round robin between the teams that have to be separated shall be included.
- If a team reaches 14 goals and is ahead by at least 2 during regulation time, then the game is over.
- Protests must be submitted within 10 minutes of the conclusion of your game. A fee of $100.00 must be submitted to the tournament director within 30 minutes of the conclusion of your game. The protest committee will consist of the tournament director, an official not involved in the game & a USA coach. In the case of a conflict of interest, another tournament official will be appointed.
